(Important) Site SUGGESTIONS!

Okay I plan to revitalize CRG. I have a few ideas on how to do this. But, before I do anything. I wanna hear from you guys first. So go ahead and leave your positive suggestions to improve site activity.

I'd suggest trying to persuade other people from other forums to join Cyber Realms Gaming to get more people posting. Then again the internet is vast so it can be hard to accomplish that sort of thing...

Maybe make a new more interesting banner that attracts ppl to come to CRG.

Yeah, we've had this banner for a long ass time, but it's time for a new one.

Thats why i think a new interesting banner might attract new faces to CRG. We specially beed one more attractive to the eye. Not one that has the same color.

Really a new banner..? That will look nice and all but I dont think people stopped posting (or will start agiain if its changed) because our banners old...

lets follow 4chans /b/'s example and take away all the rules 'hey they get lots of posters

Regardless of whether you think its a ridiculous idea or not. A banner has always been important. An unappealing banner might result in visitors not wanting to join. At least that's my opinion. It might not be full proof but its a start.

And as John said, we might get a few members if we focus on battle spirits a little more considering that the Bandai BS site wont allow trading. Its a good opportunity for our site to get some members.

A complete site makeover might do the trick!
Maybe a few new smileys, a new banner, and maybe some other stuff. It's all up to John on how we approach this.

But if you have any positive suggestions, please contribute....

We tried to get a new banner....we vote on it. Nothing ever happened.

I would give CRG a little reboot. Start over. Make less Zones....merge Anything goes, sports, video games, movies, tv into one zone. Merge all the anime zones. Dump everyones ridiculous post count....

A banner doesn't get you activity. Yes, you guys need a new banner but don't think for a second that it is the reason why activity stopped and new members stopped joining.

The best way to get more people is to provide them with content. Get daily content with good discussion on a daily basis. Assign a moderator to each forum and make sure they get a topic up every 2 days.

Advertising is the best way to get people to come to your forum. I am starting an advertising / affiliate program over at Eye Of The Vortex for our forum. You guys are welcome to join in on it.

Well that should be obvious.... But its a start.

As I said before the site needs a complete makeover before we want to get anyone to join us. And I agree with Django on starting everyone fresh. So that we can seem like a new site. With new content and new everything.

As for the advertising part, John said he had that covered.....
Although I could do my fair share of passing off the word around to ppl I know whom we share common interests with.

I can hook us up with some more Naruto previews, I suppose.
