From ANN, which is a quotation from a Anime magazine from the Japanese Sunrise staff of Code Geass:
All of you have shown us much appreciation and made the DVDs as well as the CDs so popular. Really, we have been blessed with fervent fans…. Thank you very much. Like we have said before, [a major character development happened] but Geass cannot die. It just ended, but we think it would be nice if we can still do something more. In any case, when we can announce something, in the not-so-distant future…
So to sum it up, they say there's a lot of possibility to continue the story, so we'll just have to wait and see.

I don't see a another full 25 episode series, but there's still a lot of stuff that needs explaining. Did Lelouch die? What is C.C.'s real name? How did V.V. come to possess a Code? Too little for a TV series, but too much for a single movie, so I'm hoping for a short 3 hour long episode OVA series.

Sunrise has officially green-lit a new Code Geass project. Whether said project is a re-cap or a sequel, or even if it's a OVA, Movie, or full length series, has not been stated, all that's has been confirmed is more Geass is on the way.

The more I think about the origin of the Geass the more it reminds me of how big of a rip-off it is to the Sharingan in the Naruto series. Then again before Naruto there was also the Millennium Eye from the 1st Yu-Gi-Oh! series.
